Hi. I’m Kaleb.
I live in California with my wife and three kids. Some things to know about me:
Discipling young people is one of my passions
I enjoy leading worship, writing songs and playing music
Teaching and exploring the Bible is an obsession
I’m not a fan of mustard
I enjoy great books
Vocationally, my life consists of working in the local church to facilitate sacred moments between people and their Creator.
Thanks so much for checking out Highways to Zion. If you’re new, you might want to start here:
Let’s be clear: I don’t have much figured out.
Shoot, I don’t even have a college degree. (le gasp!)
My goal is to share what I’m learning, questions I’m working through, treasures I’m digging up in the endless caves of Scripture, and maybe a song or a poem. During this stage of my life, God has been speaking to me to stretch these literary muscles, and I’m not sure what will come next. But I’m so happy you’re along for the ride. Buckle up.
In short, if you like theology, wrestling through issues facing the Church in the West, talking about the current cultural climate, insights on worship leading, a little art and music, all while dabbling in ancient history and languages, this might be the place for you.
(Oh! And mythology. Can’t forget a splash of mythology. Continue.)
